2018 Profiles in Power Nominees Announced

NOMINEES FOR THE 2018 PROFILES IN POWER ANNOUNCED! 

The Austin Business Journal just announced the 2018 nominees for the Profiles in Power award. This award honors Women of Influence around Central Texas who are making a difference in their community. Austin Business Journal states that, "They work in a variety of fields, selling artisanal cheese, finding killer office space for clients, leading technology startups, guiding corporate behemoths and more. But they share a sense of stewardship and giving back." This year the committee selected 109 nominees for the award, of which 5 winners will be announced on August 23rd at a luncheon held downtown to celebrate the women. 

DeLea Becker, one of the nominees, is a broker and owner at Beck-Reit Commercial Real Estate, LLC. She began her career in the Commercial Real Estate business when she bought a building at 1101 E 6th Street 12 years ago with her husband to renovate. Since then, she has continued to grow her business by investing in it properties both professionally and personally. She has impeccable focus on the Austin market, and is always sure to turn purchases into successful investments. DeLea is so honored to be nominated for an award that supports women in business, and she gives a big congratulations to every nominee!
