JIM ROURKE

Jim Rourke joined Beck-Reit Commercial Real Estate in 2020 and works as a Tenant, Landlord, and Investor Representative in the Austin, Texas area.  Jim is a native Austinite and began his real estate career at The University of Texas, while working as a property manager and leasing agent at Travis County Affordable Housing.  After graduation, he began working in a Project Leasing capacity at Pyramid Properties in 2006, where he represented a portfolio of Office, Retail, and Industrial properties on a leasing basis for local landlords.

Pyramid Properties transformed into AQUILA Commercial in 2007, and Jim joined the brokerage division at AQUILA Commercial.  There he became part of the Retail, Land, and Investment teams and worked in Asset Services and Tenant/Investor Representation capacities.  Here he worked on leasing and sales transactions in the Austin, Texas area.  In 2010, Jim made Austin’s “Heavy Hitters” list for his work done in 2008. In 2013, Jim joined Pure Partners, a boutique brokerage firm, where he continued to work on a private portfolio of Retail, Office, and Industrial properties in a landlord representation capacity, as well as tenant representation services for local clients.

Jim Rourke has been a licensed real estate broker since 2010.  He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, with a minor in business, from The University of Texas at Austin and Red McCombs School of Business.  He is a CCIM candidate member and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
